Ce fut une soiree memorable ! En plus nous avons eu l'honneur d'avoir parmi nous notre nouveau Consul General du Canada, Monsieur Mario Ste-Marie et sa famille.

Un gros merci a Geert and Joannie et les employes du Essen Restaurant and Beer Cafe.

Il y avait tellement de bouffe, e et l'atmosphere fantastique.

Nous avons fait un tirage pour ramasser des fonds pour le www.seashepherd.org !  Nous avons ramasse $250 et j'envoie le cheque et la carte que vous avez signe a l'organisation cette semaine.

Regardez le website et encouragez cette organisation !  Le capitaine Paul Watson est Canadien et l'an dernier cette organisation a sauve plus de 1,600 baleines qui normalement auraient ete tues par les Japonais pour "Scientific Research !")  Cette annee, ils ont decide de mettre 30 millions en securite contre le Sea Shepherd.  En plus, ils prennent l'argent que vous avez genereusement donne pour aider le peuple japonais durant durant le tremblement de terre (30 millions de dollars).  Sea Shepherd ont besoin de beaucoup d'argent, specialement pour le petrole.  En plus, ils sont tous des volontaires.  Alors soyez genereux et faites des dons.

I invite you to join me to see a group of Canadian musicians from Newfoundland ! They are playing at Notes Live on Thursday January 5th from 7pm.

It is great value !  Show only is $14.30 and dinner and show $38.80.  The food is great by the way, I tried their menu a few times.

I will reserve a table under the name of Quebec Oz Club but I NEED TO KNOW if you are coming for sure !  WE CAN ONLY RESERVE A TABLE FOR DINNER AND SHOW, the others who want to see the show only will sit somewhere else in the venue.

CHRISTMAS PARTY on DECEMBER 17th !

What a great evening, it was so fun.  We also had the pleasure of having with us our new Consul General of Canada, Mr. Mario Ste-Marie with his family.

THANK YOU ! to Geert, Joannie and the staff from Essen Restaurant and Beer Cafe.  The food was so amazing, and we had plenty of food !  The atmosphere was just great !

We raised $250 with the raffle money for the www.seashepherd.org

I will send the cheque next week as well as the greeting card that you signed at the party.  This organisation needs a lot of money and help.  We need to save our marine life and whales.  The Captain Paul Watson is Canadian and everyone is a volonteer.  As you know the Japanese are killing our whales for "scientific research !!".  Sea Shepherd saved over 1,600 whales last year and the Japanese managed to killed around 170.  This year they are coming back with extra security against the Sea Shepherd and they are using the money ($30 millions) from the earthquake (Japan relief funds) to kill our innocent whales !

Newfoundland and Labrador is an Atlantic Canadian province with a folk musical heritage based on the Irish, English and Scottish traditions that were brought to its shores centuries ago. Though similar in its Celtic influence to neighbouring Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador are more Irish than Scottish, and have more elements imported from English and French music than those provinces. Much of the region's music focuses on the strong seafaring tradition in the area, and includes sea shanties and other sailing songs. Now in Australia at the invitation of the Woodford Folk Festival, Newfoundland's best preform their only NSW show at Notes on Thursday 5th January 2015 featuring: Ron Hynes, Ennis, The Dardanelles, The Once, Sherman Downey & The Silver Lining, Richard Wood and Duane Andrews & Dwayne Cote
